2008 BENEVOLENCE
program
Where Quality Counts

Mike Rose’s Auto Body, Inc., “Each year the collision
repair industry as a whole comes across cars that are
“written off” by either the owner or the  insurance
company.  Often times these are older vehicles that
just need some mechanical and body work to get
them back on the road are perfectly safe to drive.
Because we believe these cars are going to waste
when there are people who really need them, we
decided to do something about it.”

Mike Rose’s Auto Body, Inc. has joined with other
members of the Acoat selected organization to form
the Acoat Selected National Benevolence Program.
The Benevolence Program is a community relations
program who’s mission is to
“Present refurbished
“new” used cars to deserving individuals or
organizations during the holiday season.”
be•nev•o•lence  1: disposition to do good
2 a: an act of kindness b: a generous gift
“We feel very fortunate to be involved with such a
wonderful program and are very excited to be able to
give back to the community that has supported us for
the past 36 years.  Being in this business for that long,
repairing the vehicles is the easy part, having to
decide on a recipient is the part that’s hard.  After
receiving hundreds of applications over the years and
reading the heart breaking stories, we only wish that
we could do more.  But hopefully with increased
publicity of the Benevolence Program other shops will
adopt a similar program of their own.”
– Mike Rose
Mike Rose’s Auto Body, Inc. is just one of the Acoat
Selected shops in the country that will present
vehicles in December.  This will be Mike Rose’s Ninth
year participating in the program “It has been so
rewarding over the last eight years presenting the
cars to those who are working to improve their skills
and become independent.”
What is so unique
about this program is that it is not just an effort
made by Mike’s Auto Body employees, it is truly an
effort made by the community
. Everything done to
the cars is donated, parts, paint, mechanical
inspections, tires, and 6 months insurance. In
addition, the Body and Paint technicians donate
their time and talents.  It becomes a real
community effort to put these vehicles together
